Becoming a caregiver in Arizona
What does Arizona ask of caregivers? Well, the State of Arizona requires Certified Caregivers to have successfully completed training at an approved healthcare training facility. Approvals come from the Arizona State Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators and Assisted Living Facility Caregiver Certification and Assisted Living Managers Certifications (NCIA/ALFM).
The State of Arizona also requires caregivers to provide proof of the following:
- TB testing
- proof of citizenship
- social security card
- food handler’s card
- valid CPR/First Aid cards
- be at least 18 years of age.
